im gonna go for more aikido practice.. weirdest part is.. if u think too much in aikido it becomes worse..
the idea of ki in aikido is mesmerizing... but its pretty hard to achieve that partly due to a lack of practice and one pointedness..

besides that i'm gonna start on my sec3 and sec4 maths material (so that i can handle higher level students).

oh well.. one year down.. 3 more years to 2012. hahaha..

the beauty in change lies in the fact that everything is transient. yet, thats the beauty. without impermanence, there would be no growth, no reason to improve. Flowers will not bloom, fruits will not ripen and everything stays the same. Well, we want it don't we? We kinda seek security in things remaining the same. Huge changes bring about drastic turmoil in our emotions.

Yet, that is nature isn't it.

A rose blooms due to impermanence; yet, it withers due to impermanence. Isn't that the beauty.. that even beautiful things don't last.. It is of such intensity that we will learn to treasure such rare and beautiful things in life.. because even they don't last.

Our insecurities and our fears are pretty much derived from changes. If things don't change, we are pretty much safe. Perhaps the reason why we fear change so much is because it is bringing us closer to the unknown. Some people do find it thrilling to get closer to the unknown; they welcome and embrace new opportunities. Why is the unknown scary? Cause we have no idea what it brings. It could be danger, more fun, more work or more stress. The thing is IT COULD BE ANYTHING. We are left naked without the slightest idea of what life brings to us or takes away from us. We are not in control.

Isn't it wonderful to be in control? All of us wants to be in control of our lives. Well, at least most of us right? What happens when u lose control of your sight, for example? How about hearing? Tasting?? Moving? well, we are basically quite torn apart right? yeah.. so it scares us..

I guess change really teaches us about life right? And change is real, its happening every moment. We just have to let go of the past and move on into the present moment. It does offer us glimpse of hope. Perhaps, its a time where we are leaving. Or going overseas to study. Or going somewhere else foreign to travel alone. All these can make us worried; however, it provides us new opportunities and make us grow in the process. And as soon as we become friends with change, i think we will become more in tune with reality. i think. haha..

Many times we still refuse to be in reality... oh well..
